Service Description

This course builds on what participants have learned during the ‘Basic Counselling Skills I’ Training based on the Egan Model of counselling for use by professionals, lay counsellors and those persons interested in learning more about counselling. ​ The course helps you to further develop your practical counselling skills and looks deeper in to counselling theory. In this training we continue to look at the Egan Model by exploring Stages II and III and the relevant skills. ​ Please note that you need to have completed Basic Counselling Skills I or a recognized basic counselling skills training. Recognition of non FAMtrac trainings will be considered on an individual basis.
