It seems that Anxiety has become an epidemic in our society across ages. Gone are the days when children were thought to be care free. Children are powerless in the face of all these stressors. Few things create anxiety more than a stressful situation that one has no control over or ability to effect change.
THE ANXIOUS CHILD public lecture will explore how anxiety shows up in Children and some ways we can assist children and parents manage anxiety in the home. We will have a conversation about medication and other support systems that are known to minimise anxiety. We will also explore the relationship between anxiety and different pathologies in children.
The lecture will be based on experience in practice and will aim to engage with the audience in conversation.
